The Shire of Eisental is a part of the East Kingdom in the organization known as the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), a group dedicated to recreating the best parts of the Middles Ages and Renaissance. To find out more about the SCA we suggest you start at www.sca.org.

Eisental has been a very busy Shire over the past few years. Read more in our Detailed History page!

Dividing Line

Eisental covers an area that includes the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Quakertown, Reading, and Pottsville, Pennsylvania (Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Schuylkill, and Berks counties).

Are you not sure if you live within our borders? Check out the following two maps to help you out. Remember, even if you do not live within our borders, you can still participate in any of our activities! And you are welcome, too!

  • This map has the local area broken down into zip codes.
  • This map shows the other Baronies, Shires and Kingdoms that surround the Shire of Eisental.

Still not sure? Have more questions? Explore the rest of the site, and then contact our Chatelaine (officer in charge of new people), Padrig Saethydd (Matthew Souders , 570-645-4628) or our Seneschal (chapter president), Lord Gino Rossi (Gene Rossi, 570-429-0807).
