The sheep have been shorn, the crops harvested and preparations for winter are underway. Now is the time to prepare for the winter months, which will be devoted to the making of cloth and garments for our families, filled with spinning, weaving, sewing and embroidery. To that end, on November 4th, the Shire of Eisental is pleased to host the Athena’s Thimble Collegium. Join us for a day dedicated to the art of the needle. Classes will be taught from beginner level through advanced. To expand upon the day, there will also be a track of classes dedicated to the fiber arts such as spinning and weaving. There will be time at the end of the day for panels to discuss your projects. A class schedule and additional information will be posted at http://www.eisental.eastkingdom.org/thimble.
