As a group, we are active in both the peaceable arts and martial
activities
of the Middle Ages. We have weekly practices for heavy weapons
fighting, where arts & sciences and socializing also take
place. A weekly Stitch Night is also held in Allentown. Arts and
Sciences are also served by
periodic 'Eisental University' gatherings with classes. We demonstrate
our
activities to the public, appearing at Celtic Classic yearly and other
places as the opportunities present themselves. We also host Events,
details of which can be found in the pages below.

Indoor Fight Practices
are Monday nights, 7:30pm
(no practice May 12!)
(There is no official fighter practice on the evenings of the Shire Meetings.)
Our practice site is the
Volunteer Fire Department in Schnecksville (directions below). The site is rather large, and we have full run of the
place, both indoors and out. The floor is concrete, and has a high roof,
but we're asked to not run into the walls. As this site costs us a bit more
than our last one, the donation can will be out, and a $1 donation from everyone
is requested!
Shire Business Meetings have moved to the Third Monday of the month to be held
at the same location as fight practices. On these Mondays, fight practice will
start after the meeting concludes. (Estimated to be about 8:30pm).

Youth Combat and Page program
sessions are held on Monday nights at Panther Valley High School. These
sessions include courtesy classes, various A&S classes, and fight
practice.
Archery Practices:
As we currently have no official Captain of Archers, practices are on
hold for the time being.
New Members Social
is held at Fighter Practice.
Arts and Sciences Workshops:

Close-by, in the neighbouring Shire of Hartshorn-dale, a monthly Bardic Circle is held. These are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:30 to 10:30pm. E-mail should be sent to gerdawr2@yahoo.com for more details and diretions. Due to the birth of Solomon & Tovah's twins, the circle is on hold for one more month, starting again on May 19th, 2005.
Dance Practice: Dance Practices are held on the evenings of the shire meetings, after the shire meeting.
Scriptoriums are looking for someone new to host them! Please email the Eisental list if you are interested.
The Sodality of the Armored Turnip will be presenting period cooking workshops/redaction experiences irregularly.
Shire Meetings are also called Business Meetings, and are held
on the Third MONDAY of Each Month at the
Schnecksville Fire Dept. building,
(click for directions) starting at 7pm. (Fight practice will not be held these nights; Dance practice will be held after the shire meeting). These meetings are
open to all members of the Shire, and this is where we decide what events and
demos we will host, and discuss any other concerns of the Shire.
